Thanks alot! You really saved me. I was trying to just trying to subtract dates from a user's selected dates in a very simple manner in order to find a particular date's Monday start date, but couldn't figure out how to do it. I had gone through COUNTLESS articles for something that I thought was simple. You made it simple.

Thanks again. Runs great.

Thanks for the actionscript code, i actually tried it twice to apply it to flash clocks i create for my clients and i found out that is too complicated in comparison to what i found out, you do not have to apply all that actionscript code, there is a far more simple solution, and it is only a line of code in one date object variable (hours), unless you want to display time from a timezone like new delhi which is different in hours and minutes, in this case you would have to apply the same solution i found to the minutes variable in date object as well, but it is really simple actually.

That extensive actionscript code is useful indeed if you are using a calendar or date inside a flash clock/flash application, because if you apply a time zone with timezone offset with +13, then it is needed to display the correct date, if not it is not needed so much code.

Thanks a lot for this! I find the AS date functions a bit lacking compared to things like PHP.
